Night markets over columns. 
 
First outing to the lively night markets (dawn-early morning). Not for the faint of heart: we saw a snake killing demonstration in which the heart of the snake is taken off and shown, still beating, to the crowd. Most locals were just as horrified as me. I heard, but didn't see, that they are usually skinned (alive, need I say). Fancy tasting snake blood ?
